Life, Relationship change
A member of the tribe of Isawa, Asahina, meets one of the Kami.
Asahina, a member of the tribe of Isawa, outraged at the Kami believing they rule the land, set out to confront them. She attempted to reach the High House of Light, as the Emperor's home has been named, but is turned away by the Emperor's guardians. As she turns to leave, she is met by Lady Doji, who politely offers to speak on the woman's behalf to the Emperor. Instead of accepting the offer however, she attacks the divine lady with her magic. Doji’s honor guard and the Imperial guards are horrified by this flagrant attack on one of the Kami, but Doji orders them to stand down as she stands against Asahina's magical assault. Spent and exhausted, Asahina finally sees the battered and injured Doji standing proudly against her, still regal and beautiful despite all she endured. Realising her errors, Doji's true divinity, and that this divine being had not even raised a hand to strike her down for this attack, Asahina falls to her knees, begging for a swift death to make amends. In an act of Compassion and Courtesy, Doji forgives the woman and gives her the chance of making amends by becoming a faithful servant to the new Empire. Asahina readily agrees, and vows herself to pacifism as a servant of Lady Doji. No more shall she recklessly answer with violence over her grievances.
