Erocu

Additive Race

Erocu are an additive race consisting of those who have had part(s) of their body corrupted and replaced with living magic.

Anatomy

A portion(but only a portion) of an erocu's body consists of living magic. An example of which is a man whose arm is made up of fire magic, passively burning, the fire moving and functioning in place of the limb. While it is most common for the construct to be solid, less tangible versions are possible. Should the construct replace something like an organ, it will typically emulate the processes enough to be a servicable replacement, though this is not always the case, and could cause severe health issues depending on what has been replaced.

Racial Abilities

Erocu have a natural affinity for the type of magic that their elemental body is made from, and are corrupted to better resist harmful  attributes associated with that magic. With moderate training, erocu are able to use their magic to temporarily alter the shape and volume of their elemental body; some erocu are able to extend their elemental body as a full aura around themselves. Powerful erocu are able to overpower relatively weak magics that make contact with their elemental body, especially those matching their erocu magic type; this weakens or even negates the affected magic, and temporarily boosts the elemental body's potency as the mana is assimilated.
