Archon

Anatomy

Archon are, essentially, living terrain and landscapes, their spirits imbued into the land, as well as most of the wildlife. Leylines run throughout their bodies, allowing them to influence the land they inhabit and those within it through their magics, though the limits of how much mobility their body parts has varies greatly based on their overall power. Should their leylines spread, the land and wildlife it claims will gradually be assimilated into the archon.

Reproduction

Archon are typically born where there are large concentrations of magical leylines, formed as potent ambient mana forms currents in the environment. Rather than creating more archon directly, they create Nymphs, a form of entri that serve as their representatives in the world, spread their influence, and can potentially even become archon themselves under the right circumstance.

Racial Abilities

Archon are able to manipulate the power of their leylines as their own, or as something similar to a limb, even able to redirect and carve them through the land with relatively great enough effort. The lesser souls of their territory(loose bacteria, viruses, plants, etc.) are often assimilated into being one with the archon, giving it power over them as an extension of its body; if removed from the territory, these flora will often either die, or run rampant as the magical power of the archon destabilizes without the soul that controls it, or, very rarely, developing into a nymph. The archon also has a mental influence on greater souls that are raised in their territory, giving it a sort of psionic domination over the feral wildlife, and a lesser degree of influence over the sapient natives.

An archon can use a large amount of power to converge leylines upon a point within their territory, causing an eruption of spiritual magics that cause a nymph to be born, a living embodiment of the location they were born from. These nymphs are the archon's entri, and each one has a personality and powers based on both their parent and the location they were born from.

Additional Notes

Should an archon's territory engulf the whole of a realm, there is a chance that they could corrupt, and become an atikean.

Many archon are the resurrections of powerful entities that created the leylines the archon formed from. This is most common with archdragon.
