Roadguard
The Roadguard are a mercenary knight order based out of Shansheng.
Structure
The Roadguard patrol the mountains roads across the Spine Mountain range. Their heaviest patrols are concentrated from Heaven's Mountain to Yuegong. They sustain off of the from donations by travelers and work as protection for those who can afford it.History
The Roadguard was founded in 1140 AG by General Xiàn Xiaotong who became disillusioned with the Rabbit Clan and the number of bandits they had allowed to fester within their borders. Using his funds from years of military service he created a fort in his home city of Shansheng to act as the Roadguard base. Still used to this day. To aid with patrols along with Pilgrim's Line, Xiàn Xiaotong and his new company set out to tame Crystal Dai Wyvern found on the Spine. Through his tenacity, the loss of an eye and techniques he learnt by paying a truly excessive amount of money to members of the Dragon clan he became the first Wyvern rider from the Rabbit Clan. Because of his efforts there are still a handful of elite wyvern riders in the Roadguard.Forces for hire
