Land of Burdens, Ox Kingdom

The Ox clan are an absolute monarchy with many of its historic leaders being tyrannical. Those who end up as tyrants are branded as Bull Demon Kings. They are an enduring people who are willing to outlasts their monarchs reigns while they wait for the bloodline to birth someone who will lead them to prosperity and then usurp the old rule if needed.

Capital

Blue Horn was originally a fortress city made as a front to the monsters lurking in the eastern sea and a major fishing centre. It has since become the new capital after the previous one fell to the Boars.

Domestic Clans/Factions

Pangolin

The backbone of the Ox clan's military force and a noble family within the Ox clan. They are descended from another hero during the uprising of the Ox clan. A member of the Pangolin clan is always within the military serving as a high ranking general. They are known for their proficency with armour and being hardy warriors who help to keep the Ox clan emperor in check. Sometimes they are called the "Executioners" for their history cutting down Bull Demon Kings.

Tapir

The Tapir clan was absorbed into the Ox clan long ago when they took the entire South East Coast. They are a clan of shamen that specilise in the Purifying magic and have strong beliefs in the Guardian Beasts and the legacies of their four clans. Now they take on the rolls of healers and instructors of magic within the greater clan.

Culture

The Ox clan had their start as slaves of the ancient Dragon of Forests in the East before rising up and taking back their freedom to form their own identity. The main hero of the uprising became the ruling line and leader of the new Ox clan. Other heroes of the uprising became the other noble lines within the clan. Their strong belief in freedom runs through the clan to this day. The many wars that the Ox clan have had throughout the history of the realm have all been justified through this thought of liberating others. Those who abuse this and become tyrants are then dealt with by the clan as they have abused the clans origins and culture.
They wear white with black accents along with red jackets.

Military

Ox clan had one of the largest armies in the realm however it has been greatly reduced after their last war with the Boar clan. They are known for their strong infantry and even stronger resolve. Their forces are known to keep fighting even after taking a mortal wound until their death.
Out of the 12 great clans their navy boasts the most advanced boats and is capable of standing up to Dragon Clan attacks any other boat would fall to.
