Wolf's Bane

Not to be confused with Wolfsbane also known as Monkshood. This one was made for the sole purpose of killing a Werewolf.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Wolf's Bane is short and small plant typically consisting of five stems topped with five to seven deep blue or violet flowers.

Genetics and Reproduction

The reproduction cycle of Wolf's Bane is rare knowledge that has been severely limited from passing on by werewolves. From what is known, Wolf's bane reproduces just like normal plants, through the spreading of pollination by the wind or animals that come into contact with its pollen. Its seeds are spread out much like that of a dandelion, with a system for floating on the wind.

Growth Rate & Stages

Wolf's Bane for the first year of its life is not poisonous. At around two years old the plant develops it toxicity and deadly nature if in the correct climate.

Ecology and Habitats

Wolf's Bane originally only resided in the Swiss alps and Himalayan mountains. It was taken from its place of origin and modified for the killing of werewolves at their discovery. However, Wolf's Bane still needs the dry and extremely cold temperature to grow. If its habitat isn't cold enough year-round, the poison and toxicity never develop, thus not making it an ideal weapon.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Wolf's Bane requires little nutrients or water.

Biological Cycle

Because they are a delicate plant when it comes to habitat climate, they are prone to dying quickly or suddenly at the slightest changes of weather.
