The day of Hollyhock's funeral. Alex, knowing Hollyhock's views on reincarnation, steals her corpse from the funeral because her mothers planned on burying her instead of having her body cremated as she wanted. After taking her body, Alex builds a funeral pyre at her L.A. house and lights fire to it sending everything up in flames.
