Alex and Hollyhock go on a trip around the L.A. area to try and discover who could potentially be Hollyhock's mother or father.

Alex and Hollyhock spend time getting to know each other while talking to Alex's exes and past flings, trying to figure out who could have possibly stolen her DNA to create Hollyhock. They also get into an argument when Alex makes a self-deprecating joke that reflected badly on Hollyhock.
