Stone Wolves

Asiae are therefore much more common. Some of the most powerful among these magical predators are stone wolves. Their hides' are made of rocky plates which provide the wolf with though armour. Additionally they can move across the earth easily as if they're sliding across it. They prefer to lay ambushes which their rocky hides and ease of movement across earth assist with. Additionally they are one of the few creatures that can hunt cockatrices , as they are resistant to the cockatrices petrifying gaze.
