The Status Review Proposal is rejected by the parliament of the New Sophisticates

The new cities had lesser voting rights in the parliament than the foundation cities. The Status Review Proposal was an attempt to amend the constitution to give them equal rights. Parliament rejected it in a hot session on the 11th of Highyear only two days after midsummer. It is thought that the timing was a bad fit with many Highyear holidays and it was not given the due consideration it deserved.
