The Shadow Forest

The Shadow Forest lies to the west of Bravadelth. It is a place with a somewhat sinister reputation, the haunt of eldrich creatures and strange plants and fungii, yet some of these have great use as magical remedies or in the brewing of ingredients for certain complex enchantments. The Shadow Forest is not easy to navigate and it is subject to its own peculiar micro-climate with many unnatural mists and fogs. At the time of the Second Rift War, the invaders from the realm of the Black Web had many gateways in this area and they spread corruption and blight throughout the forest, some of which has yet to heal.

For all of its bad reputation there are fey who chose to live here, and those that do are fiercely proud of the sometimes tortured beauty of their secretive and wounded woodland. The wildly popular contemporary singer Ehinosen, is a well known native of the Shadow Forest.
