The Bad Theologists

The Bad Theologists are a heretical splinter sect of the Anointed Partners. Initially, one amongst a number of competing groups of theorists, they were caught up in the Grammar Wars and when the dust settled on the shifting alliances and machiavellian machinations of those conflicts, they had become a scapegoat for everything that was labelled sterile, clinical and a result of unholy intentions.   Following their leader, Kiril Rikovitch, they fled to Anoomenon in 2735 AF, fromĀ  a variety of disparate places and were granted refugee status in the City of Exiles. There, after a time, they resumed their work, establishing their now infamous towers and setting in train a long term program of succession planning.   The Bad Theologists cooperate with one another in theory, but in practice they pursue their daily studies in isolation, punctuated by occasional review meetings. As of 3180 AF, they claim that they have a solution for seven of the nineteen langauges in theĀ Codex of Yoth-Sathlyu but apparently the eighth is an order of magnitude more complex than anything that has been decoded so far.   In cites outside Anoomenon, the Bad Theologists are regarded with a superstitious dislike, bordering on fear but they have been allowed to continue their work uninterupted.
