Gruffud Cawl

Gruffud Cawl was the son of king Cenwyn Drach and Nia Itoo. He was the fourth fey ruler in the line of descent that had begun with Dovrim Lauram, the first king of the fey. The start of Gruffud Cawl's reign marks the transition from the Age of the First Wars to the Age of Lost Memory. This was the beginning of a long period of relative peace.

The king had a reputation for a whimsical streak of cruelty. His provocative ruling in respect of Sendraya Santess on a notorious occasion at the Dance of the Silver Tide is a well known example of this which has survived in oral folklore to this day.
