Daksha Khokra
Daksha Khokra
Daksha Khokra was the Rani of Katrapetch between 1894 BPC and 1857 BPC when the city was part of the Old Pale Empire.
She is much better known than her husband with a reputation not only for great beauty and charm but also a subtle intelligence that eclipsed the Raja, making her one of a number of Rani generally acknowledged to have been the de-facto rulers of a city that could only technically be governed by a man.
One of Daksha's most significant achievements was a renegotiation of phryne trade taxes which put more money into the local economy of Katrapetch and reduced the influence of central Empire control.
