Akihiko Ibara
Akihiko Ibara was the elder of the twins who jointly ruled the Empire of the House of Thorns from the capital city of Kingcardine at the height of the age of the Succession Empires. Together with his younger brother, Akihiro Ibara, they were known as the Thin Princes. They had started life some way removed from the line of succession and their ascent to the throne in 1713 AF, was a murky and bloody affair.
The Thin Princes were responsible for the destruction of Paratomb in 1720 AF. Their attempt to conquer Anoomenon in 1734 AF, however, ended in disaster and two years later they ended their lives in a suicide pact.
