{FV} 9.08b Gear Hunting

Not sure if I should be excited or concerned. The day started great and all, but as time passed by, I couldn’t even remember a thing that happened… So besides early morning shenanigans (heh, shenanigans), BD and Paul helped me get me some new gear. I was really excited for this, I mean with me being accepted into my goalkeeper position and all, but I had to have new gear. Though we could have just gotten my gear from the stores in Sull, we decided we should buy at Mizuna Mall, I mean for old time’s sakes.
On the train to Central, we found out Annie Mc…something, I couldn’t really remember the name, was actually in the train with us. The guys were being fanboys like usual, though I was really uncomfortable with what Annie was wearing that time. The guys’ description of him were interesting though. Apparently, he was Miuradai’s ace striker or something? In any case, I should really try to watch his plays.
We got to Mizuna Mall eventually and headed straight to Sports Shorts. Nice place. Got me my goalkeeper gloves and new football cleats. Paul and BD even handpicked me some shorts which was a replica of the Miuradai uniform. Just as I was trying it out, some girls entered as well. Paul was particularly interested with the pink-haired one, but got disappointed when we found out they were Senta students. (Even I was reverting to my Momoyuri attitude for a moment). Worse still, she seemed to liked BD more. She even gave BD her number.
Poor Paul was heartbroken. I had to shake him out of it, even tried to catch his attention with Psychedelic Hotdog. No luck. Fortunately, BD had a quick thinking. I think he saw Annie on the way to Psychedelic Hotdog, took a picture and his autograph and then waved it in front of Paul. Paul was revived in an instant, to my relief. Then he started raving about Annie again. This guy is really something.
This is where it gets blurry though. The Senta girls returned and the pink-haired girl’s companion was trying to tell me something. I couldn’t make out of it. I thought it was a bug at first, but then…
Then…everything went blank. The last thing I knew, I was back at my house with a text message from Paul and BD. There were news about a bombing attack too. Did I get hit? How did I managed to get out unscathed though? At least the guys were safe. I was too, I think. Anyway, I shouldn’t try to think about it too much. My first game will be coming soon and I need to practice. And rest.
