Westerlanding
Nestled next to the Delta of Doors. While it's not massive in size the port does a considerable amount of imports from all around Archea. Home to Hilde Shnack a favored senator amongst both dwarves and elves. This city also has the most direct trade route between Cambria and Menegroth. Also home to the finest cider in the land, The Joli Rouge.
Quaint would be the best descriptor for this riverside trading community. Favoring a sprawling design and shorter smaller buildings comparatively to some of the "larger trading cities". Larger sailing ships dock at the mouth of the river and smaller gondolas and barges then transport items into the city. As well as handle a lot of the export out to Menegroth and stopping in Rivernight, a very close trade partner. Though not expansive sometimes the water ways are the best way to traverse Westerlanding as they continuously carve out smaller rivers to allow for the small personal boats of the citizens to freely travel without interruption of the larger vessels that find their way to and through the city.
Typically filled with all the hustle and bustle that mass quantities of trade will bring, Westerlanding looks far busier than it is. Merchants rush in in the morning to offload their goods and from there the various items get distributed through the network of aqueducts and causeways. After the initial rush things tend to settle down by quite a bit allowing the locals to move about freely through the city. Though they are never in a hurry mostly due their very short work days. Hilde Schnack has implemented a very popular two gold a week stipend paid from the tariffs applied to the seafaring merchants.
