St. Anore
A smallish forest dwelling city in the northern part of the Arbor[ian] woods. It served as a hub between what was Arborio and the western Elven cities. As well as the settlements on the eastern border of the woods. Saint Anore gets its name from one who was considered the true daughter of Melora. Though in her time it was just Anore a woman known for her ability to heal even the most grievous wounds. Legends say that whenever she was near by a gentle breeze would follow. Now when traveling through the woods around St. Anore it's considered good luck when the wind blows in your direction.
St. Anore was mainly a checkpoint for travelers and traders before the shattering of Arborio. There wasn't anyone who was really a natural resident save for maybe the Halfings. All walks of life have always been welcome to visit and live there. Houses are varied in construction because of the myriad of peoples that have lived and are living there. Though recent events have caused an influx of gnomes to St. Anore. The locals have ever so kindly offering shelter and refuge for the survivors and those returning to find their home destroyed.
The community of St. Anore have a strong belief of what they call "The Winds of New Beginnings". Which is a newer teaching of the followers of Melora. It's said to be a way to wash away the wrongdoings of one's past. The teaching is a warm welcome and a clean slate for anyone new who enters the city. They try very hard to find good in what they can. Which has led to some problems here and there, but for the most part worked well enough.
