Rivernight

Home of Ulin a senator. This town resides partially in the Underdark which provides for a unique relationship with its denizens. Relations are pretty peaceful with the underdark as it provides a way for them to acquire overworld goods with relative ease. Prices are fair and trade is equal as there are some resources unique to the underdark that can’t be had on the surface. Surprisingly there is little tension.
Strange is a good place to start with Rivernight. Built on the closest nexus between the overworld and underdark has provided an interesting influence for the town. While it's fairly small on the outside, the reality of Rivernight is that it stretches further into the underdark than what can be seen.  This has created an odd symbiosis where the topside is able to provide resources not normally available to the underside and vice versa.  Though some would speculate this relationship is tenuous at best, Ulin seems to have full confidence in this odd setup.
Those who call Rivernight home are of many origins but it is favored by the moon elves and the peaceful dark elves.  Visitors might also find a few free Duergar and the occasional Deep gnome.  Deep gnomes however are far rarer than the duergar.  The topsiders don't delve too deep into the underdark despite the relatively positive relationship there has been a few disappearances of them in there.  This has caused some resentment from the topsiders to the former denizens of the underdark.
