Orc Tribes of Colossus
Gorstakul
The eastern most island and inhabited primarily by grey Orcs. They are wise and have a powerful ability to communally cast spells. Much like you would see more powerful rituals and spells done. This however applies to many things even at the level of a cantrip. The Orc community is a strong and powerful bond. While there are separate tribes with traditions they all fall under one circle of elders composed of each tribe’s wisest member.
There are five orc tribes that have a shaman in the circle of elders.
Tribe Thorak
They are the most similar to the orc tribes on Archea. These ones tend to be more squat and more brutish than any other tribe. While they aren't labeled as warriors. There is nothing almost nothing that can stop a Thorak Berserkers rage. Some have even be able to stave off death itself in their frenzy. Their shaman Goff Corsus has led them for the last six years via brute force. He is not necessarily the wisest but he is the strongest and none wish to contest that yet.
Tribe Gustrag
More of a militarized tribe, they are powerfully built standing at least a few inches above the larger members of the other tribes. They are primarily warriors. Though it is not entirely unheard of for some pursuing a more sedated lifestyle. Zokar, shaman of Gustrag warriors is a venerable orc folk hero of sorts. He is very well respected amongst all the tribes of Gorstakul.
Tribe Nistane
A more civilized orc. Nistane is a very modern, very progressive group. They are forward thinking in many aspects. They are generally more amicable to outsiders than the other tribes. This tribe has a history of using diplomacy to solve its problems. Even still they at their core are orcs and are not to be trifled with. L'teev is matriarch and elder of this tribe. She is tough as nails having to compete with other arguably stronger male orcs. Where she lacks in strength her wit and cunning are able to turn the tables to her advantage.
Tribe Lostok
Traditionally they are more religious the other tribes of orcs. Lostok oversees most rituals and ceremonies. Generally they are smaller and thinner than the traditional orc yet more grey in color. Perhaps signifying their arcane strength. Frequently seen wearing a ritual mask the elder of Lostok forsakes their given name. As they are viewed as the embodiment of all orcs and as such do not have one true name.
Tribe Vos’Grot
The oldest of the tribes and home to the most senior members, typically no one is born into the tribe as they are acquired from other tribes. Most hold this tribe in high-esteem. It is an honorable position to hold amongst the tribes of Gorstakul. Many of this tribe call the dueling peaks of Grotsly and Ylstorg home. Cronar the great has been deemed the de-facto leader of the Vos'Grot as he is the most experienced orc on the island. In the opinion of his subordinate.
Torskul
While not a main body it is affiliated with Gorstakul and it is home to the 6th and final tribe The Geists of Torskul, or more regionally known as the Weird Boys. With no stake of leadership they are their own entity but still hold loyalty to the stronghold of Orcus. They are far more magically attuned than the average orc of Gorstakul and are more connected to the spiritual side of Colossus. Their elder(s) is/are interesting. On one side there is Druk a fiercely intelligent and methodical orc. The other is Migo who is Druk's compatriot. Migo is not nearly as intelligent but he is intuitive to the point of scariness.
