Druidism: The Religion of Nature

Not finding affinity with any one deity but instead finding divinity in the nature of material plane as well as the more primoridial power of the elemental, fey, and cosmic planes. While certain deities may be shown deference who have assoication with these sources (E.G: Melora, Sehanine, Kord, Pelor). But none of these deities are honored beyond a general respect and appreciation in the grand scheme of the natural world.   Druids sub sets are based on the part of nature in which they show reverence towards and devote their lives to. Each Druid has one of these circles of nature in which they pay respects and devote their lives to protect and honor. The Circles are as follow:

Circle of The Land: Druids who devote their time to a specific part of the material plane, may it be Forests, Sea, Mountains, Grasslands, Tundra, Swamps, Dessert, Etc..

The Druids of a Land are often not great travellers but great meditators, and find power in the land they know and honor. Each natural landscape teaching them it's own magic. These druids vary based on the environement they all call home, but like all druids are exceedingly welcoming and welcome travelers when ever they can.

Circle of The Moon: Moon Druids honor the mystical celestial body of the moon, its power over the tides, and all living beings. Natural shape shifters the Moon Druids are those most especially attuned to the mystical druidic are of Beast Shape.

Moon Druids are both travelers and wardens of their domains, there are locations like Lakeer Seluna, or Luna Lake as it is called in common tongue, as well as Menegroth the high elven city that finds itself home to Moon Druids in droves, but just as easily Moon Druids travel the world following the phases of the great moon the hangs over the sky. Often a bit unorthodox in personalities, just as content alone as with a group Moon Druids are often very eccentric in their practices that seem so odd to even a reverent common folk.

Circle of The Shepherd: If the Land Druids are the often stagnant maintainers of their environemnt, the Circle of The Shepherd even at its most self contained are constantly on pilgrimage. Master os beast as their loyal companiaons, and the spirits of the wild guide them.

Shepherd Druids are constant travelers both in isolation and in groups often you will find herds of them travelling with large amounts of livestock in tow. Masters of summon beasts and communication directly to the wilds these Druids often find themselves as mediators between society and the wilds just past their walls.

Circle of the Stars: Not disimiliar from the Moon Druids in eccentric practices, but wholy different in the manifestation of their druidic powers. Star Druids command the constellations in the same way most other druids shift into a beast, they shift into constellations.

Famously travellers, star druids travel not to connect specifically with their stars but becasue of their stars constant presence. With the guidance of the contsellations the Star Druids often choose to seek out those in need to help, following the stars and their divination to guide them to where they will be needed. The common beleif of Star Druids is they are guides of the cosmos and must help the world and all its inhabitants with their power and guidance.

Circle of Spores: Druids who some times are called Death Druids are those who worship and honor the process of decomposition and the flora and fauna that grow nad prosper in death and darkness.

Often hermits the Spore Druids delight in the solace provided by the dark continent or the underdark, sometimes in deep caves or swamp lands, but often they just want to be alone. This circle was founded by a necromancer of great note in his time, who chose to turn his life to druidism after nearly destroying the world with his dark machinations. Most Spore Druids are born to a different circle and learn of a way to use their darker powers for the balance of nature and leave in their teen years.

Circle of The Wildfire: Druids who praise the power of the elemental plane of fire, and the natural powers of it. Often impressively strong in their raw elemental power fire druids are rare but it is beleived there is a community in a far off land in the side of a volcano!

Wildfire Druids are often accompanied by a fire spirt that seeks to guide and protect them. Together the pairs are often found living on the outskirts of society loving to be close to the spark of life that is the fire of society. Wildfire druids have a strong sense of morality and often seek to help those in need but because of their power often are known for showing restraint so as not to destroy or harm nature.

Circle of Dreams: Druids sometimes called Fey Druids are the most connected to the fey wild in their magic. Dreams is the abstract psychi realm of druidism. Often seen as seers and the most social of the druid circles, these Dream Druids are the most commonly found in cities and society.

Dream Druids are the druids of the city and the irony is often not lost on them. Their ethereal connection to the dream plane allows them to see the nature in even the most robust cityscape. All of them often go on pilgrimage once or twice a year to reconnect with nature proper and spend a week in a dreamscape this journey is called their "Odyssey of Dreams". Most of the Dream Druids are shown to have an affinity of the Summer Court of Feywild politics, and in some case the new Spring court.
