Brightcove
picturesque beaches, elegant towers, known for its giant fish and other exotic wildlife. With these famed beaches and exotic beast Brightcove is a common tourist destination as well as the home to many famous artisans. Mostly a fishing city, but is also the location of some interesting summertime athletics. The biggest draw however is the annual lighting of the lanterns where the natives of Brightcove release thousands of balloons with lights in honor of the dead and to help guide them home.
Brightcove is split into three major sections, the coves, the city, and the ports. The coves for which the city gets its name are naturally formed from thousands of years of the tides rolling in and out. The "bright" in Brightcove is also naturally occurring; it is a form of bioluminescence from the algae in the area that gets washed in from the southern currents. These areas are used primarily for religious ceremony but there are a few hermits that live in these caves. The city proper is fairly small but its sprawling design makes it seem larger than it is. Most importantly is its ports which draw in a large amount of resources and commodities. The ports have only gotten busier in the coming days to the point where the city is seeking permission to extend its own boundaries.
