CHOOHFest

History
The festival was first held in the 20s as a celebration of Nomad culture, evolving over time to become more and more elaborate, culminating in the creation of the main stage by metalsmiths.
Execution
Inside the festival itself, you’ll find dozens of 18-wheeler rigs driving together, with the main stage leading the pack, towed by 6 huge, modified cabs, like horses attached to a carriage. The other smaller rigs in the tail of the convoy each carry different services and amenities for the fest-goers, such as mess halls, bars, infirmaries, sleeping quarters, and workshops for the mechanics who keep the whole thing in motion. People move themselves, and supplies between the rigs using all sorts of methods, from rope swings, to gangplanks, or just good old fashioned jumping.
Components and tools
Big rigs, groundcars, rusted chrome sculptures, moving platforms, various foods, and the main stage: a pyramid at least 30 meters tall, atop a massive platform, at least a hundred meters in width, and two hundred in length, with huge stacks of speakers blasting out heavy metal music, electronic and hardcore techno around the clock.
Participants
Nomads from all over North America, as well as their allies and others who make the festival possible.
Observance
The festival occurs every May and lasts about 4 days, starting from Loredo, Mexico, and traveling in a massive ring around the Western half of the USA.
