Ashes

The Song Ashes is a haunting Shanty that is reflective bolsters comradery and harkens to talesand friends bygone and is sung to bolster ones courage. A crew Successfully learning and singing this Shanty DR12 Roll has the following effects:
1. Any Crew consuming Ash may reroll its effect but they must abide by the rerolled effect.
2. A Ship Crew Engaging in combat against Skeletons, or Skeleton Ships may choose to receive a +1 Bonus to their Broadsides attack rolls, or Small Arms Attack rolls, In addition, they may Reroll once their Morale Roll against the terrifying effect of a skeleton ship. These Effects last for d6 turns.

History

This Shanty Started in the Ash Dens and Taverns of Tortuga. It grew in Popularity in the last several years as it often calmed the somtimes traumatic effects of those who consumed Ash and later some ships crews found it effective when confronting Skeleton crews and skeleton ships.

Observance

This Shanty is often Sung before sailing into battle against a Skeleton Ship to bolster the ships crew or in port in the Taverns aor Ash dens where some may be consuming the substance.
