The Dark Book - Earth

Much like the world we know. Earth has many hidden secrets and unknown species. Those that we think we know and those we have never heard of. A visitor from what we call reality would find they might fit right in. Until they happen upon one of the other races. There are four different types of shape shifter creatures and those that we might think of as vampires. At least until we meet the ones who actually inspired the myths. In this world magic is approached scientifically and it's all done with the mind. From casting a spell to casting the body on the breeze in a gathering of molecules. From Lighting a candle to springing a lock all are done using the mind.
