+1 Weapon up to level 7, +2 up to level 15.
This weapon has been enchanted with a carving of an ebony octopus whose tentacles curl up around the head of the ax. Upon a successful hit, the wielder can choose to have the tentacles extend out of the weapon to grapple the enemy. The grapple effect is in addition to the weapon damage. Once an opponent has been grappled, you can use a bonus action to constrict, and crush your opponent to add 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
