A realm where the arcane energy perfuates the air, where the emotions of its denizens are enough to channel power. the Equestrain plane of exsitance. is a place wrought with termoil, kept stable and "harmonious" by its rulers.
Laws of Nature
Within the plane of Equestira, there are some natural laws to take into acount.Harmony
one of the most imidiate properties of the realm, is that of harmony. this force is offten described as the protecive aura of any creature, and is formed from positive emotions. When generated in a high enough capacity, it can be utalized as a shield, which is what the realm does on a mass scale under its Sun qeen ruler through a form of mass propaganda.As long as a vast amount of the population can be counted on to maintain their spirits up, the protective field around the plane is maintained, and the emptiness of the void is held at bay.
Elements of Harmony
There excists within the plane a set of six "elements" that are sometimes utalized to channel the powers inherit to harmony, this can be done in one of two ways;Solo Usage. When weilded by a Equinarian Divine the elements may be able to be activated by their will and emotions alone, they must however be able to call forth all elements in tandem to make this work.
Group Usage. a far more consistent method for using the elements is by a group, where one individual takes on the task to wild one element artifact each. this method has generally been the preview of Ethereal Cast Equinarians.

having just mentioned the elements of harmony, and seeing magic, that may be a excellent next point to explore. The nature of magic within the Equestrian plane can be divided up into subsets, most notably, Ambient Magic, pneuma magicthe personal magic[/secret] and Forbidden Magics. Each of these can in turn be broken down to their own sub groups, but for a short summery and to hint at the finer details, for now, lets keep to these three groups.Ambient Magic
The Equestiran realm has a everpressent magical force in the air, this is theorised to be how it has remained alive for the time before mass harmony. This ambient magic can be accessed by anyone who has the right tools, or who is born with a gift for it. doing such arts is often referred to as "channeling"Pneuma Magic
This is the form of magic held by the Equinarian races, the magic inherit to their very being. This force manifests in different ways for the different casts.For the terrestrial it manifest as increased physical might, heightened reflexes, and the ability to better comune with the floral world.
For the Avian it comes as both their ability of flight, their mastery of the weather and heightened senses.
Lastly, for the Ethereal it comes as their ability to sense ambient magic, their heightened affinity for using harmony and stregnthening the channeling they can do with their physical attributes (namely their horn).
This magical power is one which is seen as being exclusive to the Equinarian, though it is posesed by some who are less... pleased, shall we say, with their rule, that the timberwolf creatures have a very similar aspect to them, although etheral cast schoolers would be quick to class that within the last category.
Forbidden/Dark Magics
This last category is often tied to the void, though those who know truth outside of the propaganda about peace and harmony that The Empire spreads, will know that the force of harmony mentioned before can be used with negative emotions just as well as positive ones. however, the risk this poses is what is the issue. Malignant or Enmitical Show Spoilerfrom "enmity"
There is though also the arts that are undoubtedly void related, such as Hallowing/pierceing magic This art is based on the caster making rifts to the void, and then either harnecing the emotions it causes, or straight up using the rift itself as a tool for destruction. this is a very rear form of dark art, though it is one that many scholars would say is the norm among timberwolf creatures, in particular the trees. (AURTHORS NOTE: to summarize, all one needs to do to class as this art is to significantly rip the border between void and realm, how it is then utilized matters less, so although a person is not classed a as USER lest they utilize the effects, if one causes a rift that ACTION is classed as usagle of this "school" so to speak)
To those who are without gifts that put these powers more readily at their disposal, what remains are the arts that are often called "forbidden Arts" vile Runes, dark rituals, blood sacrifices to ancient beings of the realm. here is where you find vampires, mind mages, and a plethera of users of Malignant channeling may be grouped in, even if they scientifically may deserve their own group (for what does the common Equine care for details?)
