The town of Pigswall in Tennessee is situated in a wooded valley. The town is small and jobs are going the way of the dinosaur- and the people desperately don't want to believe it. Proud of themselves for having a black preacher for their biggest church, Pigswall considers themselves to be moving up in the world, even as their wire and transformer factory struggles for new contracts.
Unfortunately Pigswall doesn't have anything for mental health, nor do they believe in sending their own to a godless shrink. So all their needful recieve help from the community. This means little more than sustenance and (for the bravest,) company.
