Wratholme
"Glory to Wratholme, the prized gem that lay in the crown of Loclias!"
-Wilfred Gearturner
Infrastructure
The existence of Wratholme is a confusing phenomena, unknown to be natural or manmade. (Or more likely, gnome-made) The city sits atop a raised plateau-like landmass, sitting atop a bedrock beam that blossoms out to the city's edges. The beam seems to come up from deep within the earth, betraying no signs of its origin. The crater in the earth beneath this plateau surrounds the strange formation, with jagged rocks lining its ridges.
The formation seems not unlike a set of jagged teeth surrounding the city from below, threatening to swallow it at any moment.
The city itself is comprised of three main elements: the smallest is the medical tent encampment, set up to cure those affected by the plague of Strathmore. Next is Wratholme tower, a massive and imposing structure that overlooks the entire raised landmass. Lastly is the town which stretches miles out in each direction.
Architecture
Most of the buildings are comprised of relatively well kept stone and wood. Wratholme tower is a large, lighthouse looking white spire that has a type of walkway at the very top.
