Nuestra Señora del Trueno Justo

The pride of the Vasourian air navy, the Lady of Righteous Thunder is an airship of the line featuring a staggering amount of guns, both broadside and turreted. It may even perhaps have the most in the whole world, as long as no one is hiding a larger dreadnought anywhere.
Construction of the vessel started in 1742 TSE, but budget cuts towards the navy caused progress to be sporadic, if it existed at all, for about five years before Admiral Bernardino Ange'debassador took the project under his wing and revitalized interest through a updated design. It prayed upon the summerlander's cultural penchant for grand displays, but what it took advantage of was irrelevant in the end, as the Vasourian parliament was more than convinced by the new plans. 
What was originally going to be a simple ship of the line was transformed into a national symbol of might and protection. Two decks, three main turrets , and a about 102 broadside guns was what the original blueprint callef for. When Admiral Ange'debassador was done, it's number of decks, turrets, and guns had nearly doubled. Armor plating had been added, something that was becoming more common across the board for both naval and air ships, and it's crew compliment was nearly triple from where it started. A true beast of the skies.
Construction would take eight years, and when it was completed it was granted a name as it was put to sail for the first time, as is tradition in Vasourey. Those in attendance of the ceremony could not agree, until an experimental broadside was loosed. 
Someone was said to have stated "Another sound like that and we won't be able to hear her righteous thunder at all!" as the report of the guns shattered the skies and rumbled by. The name stuck. Nuestra Señora del Trueno Justo, lovingly called 'Our Lady' by both crew and civilians alike, has a popular persona given to her artists and propagandists that paint her as a sort of loving mother of the airial navy. 
This persona has served her well in the years since construction, and has served to cover up a few of the ships less notable shortcomings. Given her size, she is likely the slowest ship in the world, and suffers greatly from top heavy construction. Some crew have expressed concern that should she have to roll too far over to level her guns at the enemy, her enchantments and crystal engines may be unable to right her again, leaving the crew to dangle from the side of the ship without outside assistance from a friendly ship. The amount of crystals required to keep her affloat is another thing that limits her effectiveness, meaning she requires far greater supply support than most air naval vessels. 
All of these negatives, and others, are cleverly circumvented by the Vasourian navy through careful use and deployment. The fact that she is rarely sent away from Vasourey only feeds into the ships protective image, resulting in many pleasant accounts of seeing her sail through the skies high above, calm as can be.

Armor and defense

Enchanted oak and early banded armor design leave Our Lady with suprisingly robust defenses, though they are unfortunately flagging in the modern age. She's not without protection, but it's likely that the modern design of guns will find greater purchase against her protections.

When the ship has seen combat, which it has never shied away from, it has proven it's terrible effectivness when supported by other vessels. It's compliment of guns are devestating and it's crew well drilled. In almost ever engagement between Our Lady and another ship of the line, she comes away almost unscathed, and it's enemies in tatters.
Currently, her mainmast is scored with sixteen full kills of enemy vessels, and the improbably capture of almost half as many.
Perhaps most famed is her battle against the smaller, but more heavily enchanted, ship of the line Roter Falke. The fought for nearly three days, neither crew sleeping except at their guns and eating only when they could. THe battle itself was indecisive, but both navies used the duel to speak towards their own resilience and commitment. In reality, it inspired a revolution in the technology of naval guns at the time, just before the age of true ironclads.
