A press conference in an abandoned lot in Chicago's Chattam neighborhood revealed the impressive amount of land that Amazon had acquired. Jeff Bezos announces that the great state of Illinois and the communities in the neglected South Side of Chicago have helped create this new grand experiment called the City of Amazon. They are now a nation separate from the United States, in order to serve the world better.
Amazon's stock soared over a hundred points higher before the end of the day.
