At the midnight hour, the party snuck out of the Library to escape arrest only to encounter a patrol on the road to the Marble Courts. After defeating the patrol, they stole their uniforms and snuck into the prison. Stealth was however not the priority once inside. They reached the heart of the Bektashi HQ where a huge globe of glass and water holds the Forcecasters, the Bektashi’s tool for divination and a trio of aquatic humanoids that bare a striking resemblance to Marigold’s fiancé Loka. Sigrid attacked the globe and inadvertently tapped into Vetur’s wild magic pulling him back to the group (and turning him into a Yeti).   After a chaotic battle and rescue, the party made their way through the basement ruins of the D4c HQ, finding a weird throbbing infernal heart which Sigrid promptly stomped. The party quickly moved on sealing the exit behind them to prevent pursuers and escaping via the sewers to the slums district and heading north towards their HQ.   However their night was not done as they saw the Red House Syndicate making a push to destroy the dam. Doing much damage to the city and criminals, the party defeated Cleaver and took captive the bloodwitch before heading back to their HQ for some much needed rest as the day dawned.   After getting a rest, the party decided to investigate Cleaver’s lab. Heading inside the party found a nightmare of dangerous chemicals as the bloodwitch had been using blood from a number of creatures to enhance the potions, including several captured Devourer spawn. Sigrid stabbed her through and the door clicked locked behind them, the party is now trapped in a burning lab. The party put the fire out and killed the bloodwitch.   Meanwhile outside the door, the Bektashi stood waiting to kill them. Breeze realized that they were actually the same Rakshasa responsible for the loss of Eivor and Sigrid was able to avenge her brother's death.

The party discovered while they slept at the library from the House of Wisdom, that the Bektashi had arrived at the libraries upper entrance with an arrest warrant (the pretext of being friendly dropped) for the party and the the librarians snuck them out while delaying the officers. The party snuck through the slums at midnight, heading for the Marble Courts and the heart of the Bektashi to prison break their allies. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turns out) the party ran smack into a Bektashi patrol. The already battle weary Bektashi were easily overwhelmed and disguises procured. With not quite enough to go around Sigrid volunteered to be a fake prisoner being delivered to the jail and the party bluffed their way into the Marble Courts.   The party saw evidence that Vetur had been this way, when Sigrid accidentally got covered in snow the Bektashi were having to clean out of a hallway, and reached the heart of the Bektashi HQ where a huge globe of glass and water holds the Forcecasters, the Bektashi’s tool for divination and a trio of aquatic humanoids that bare a striking resemblance to Marigold’s fiancé Loka.   Sigrid attacked the globe and inadvertently tapped into Vetur’s wild magic pulling him back to the group (and turning him into a Yeti).   As Sigrid, Vetur, and Zazik managed the diversion; Rumpel, Hype, and Breeze headed for the cells, passing a surprisingly calm Chief of Police. Navigating a lockdown alarm timer and a blockage of prisoners and guards, they managed to free not only Bteam and several members of G team, but also Loka (Marigold’s fiance) and her friends.   Zazik meanwhile having been informed that the Forecasters are not willing employees of the Bektashi proceeded to free them from the globe depositing them on the icy fur of Vetur. Sigrid drove off guards and mages clearing a path for the party to make an escape.   However as Rumpel and Breeze led the way to the escape they found their way blocked. A wall of Bektashi officers and the Chief of Police ready for them, waiting as if they knew where to be all along.   The party escaped the Bektashi HQ with the help of Ex-Detective Dafel, (who Hype is accused of future murdering). They escaped through the ruins of the D4c HQ, finding a weird throbbing infernal heart which Sigrid promptly stomped.   The party quickly moved on sealing the exit behind them to prevent pursuers and escaping via the sewers to the slums district and heading north towards their HQ.   A survey of the evolving situation found the rioters to the east had been organized by the Red House Syndicate into trying to set explosives on the Dam. And the party decided to interfere, charging in directly while Loka’s team and half of Team G made a pincer attack in support.   Spotted by lookouts, the party was blockaded off from the staging ground and embroiled in a street battle until Zazik and Marigold went over the top of the buildings. Cleaver, the Red House Syndicate boss and Hype’s half-brother revealed himself to stop them, but Zazik’s storm generator hit the explosive barrels with lightning disrupting the enemy.   Meanwhile Hype confronted his half-brother below, a quick deadly duel that ended in Rumple surprise attacking Cleaver and bringing him down. Outside Marigold brought down a blood witch named Samashi and firced her surrender ending the leadership of the Red House attack and scattering the remnants. Hype and Zazik made a AAA calling card and placed it on Cleaver’s body taking his sword (for Nad) and his mask (for Rumple)   The party with captive blood witch in tow headed north intimidated their way through a light bektashi encounter and reached their city HQ, the Swithem House. After assaulting the defenses made by Qag, the Ysoki Artificer working for team G. They headed in and got some much needed rest.   After getting a rest (with a couple nightmares) and seeing the rioting calmed a bit the party decided to investigate Cleaver’s lab in the docks district (the location given up by Samashi). Joined by Loka, Nadil AlCham, and Wadiaborro, and Dafel, they also met up with Squart sporting a new frost enchanted collar to maintain his frost elementalness in this new climate.   About this time the party discovered they were being tailed by a group of invisible Bektashi. They tried to lose them seemingly successfully, reaching the warehouse where the Bludgud drug processing lab was hidden.   Heading inside the party found a nightmare of dangerous chemicals and reprehensible practices, Sigrid lost her temper and Samashi revealed her worst secrets, she had been using blood from a number of creatures to enhance the potions, including several captured Devourer spawn.   Sigrid stabbed her through and as the party tried to separate them, (including the two lookouts) Samashi responded by lighting her blood on fire (and by extension most of the lab). The door clicked locked behind them, the party is now trapped in a burning lab.   The party kept the fire from spreading with wind and rain. The blood witch was determined for some revenge before death, but between Sigrid and Marigold's Dante she was not able to do much before expiring.   Meanwhile the locked door proved to be planned by a group of Bektashi, the same ones following them earlier finally catching up. The party came out trying to negotiate or bluff their way out of a fight, but were surprised to find the Bektashi Captain Hazeela not only recognized them, but wanted revenge.   As she activated the two construct tigers with infernal magic and the party noticed the tell tale signs of disguised Rakshasas among their foes, the fight was unavoidable.   Zazik utilized contract magic to hem in the fight while Breeze released the anger of the dead. Marigold, Rumple, and Hype drove or defeated away the lesser Rakshasa while Sigrid, Nad, and Dante fought their way to Hazeela.   Breeze realized that Hazeela was the same Rakshasa responsible for the loss of Eivor during the wedding adventure and Sigrid was able to avenge her brother's death (vengeance part 2?).
