The Ursa Tree

One of the Champions of Gaz’roc’s Civil War lost his life in an incident with an undead curse during a battle where healing was deadly. In his death, the lands wept and mourned in response. Where his body fell a magnificent willow tree sprouted bearing strange fruit that tasted like flesh, though nourished as if eating a full meal.

Within a knot at its trunk, the tree opens up to Argatha, an interdimensional crossway between all plains and realities. Ursa’s animal companion in life, Fazzy, will periodically appear to travelers and open the gateway. This tree somehow seems to exist in all realities, sometimes in multiple places on the same plain. One of the places it is often seen is in the courtyard of the palace in Docean.
