Session 27: Shargruk River Report

General Summary

The party found a village that had been slaughtered on the island where they expected to find the bustling town Grishnak. It turns out, village was not Grishnak, but a near by village that an old friend of Kartika Rogyapa was investigating. Kartika also confessed her love to Revnaa. Not wanting to stay in the village at night, the party camped further away and decided to investigate in the morning. Unfortunately, during the night, some undead creatures crept out of the water and attacked. Strangely, they smelled of salt water and seaweed. Those that managed the final blow soon found themselves cursed (Roy Crown Royal and Vegam Yar ). Luckily Kartika Rogyapa is certain that if they use the correct burial rites with the dead, that they can remove the curse. The only problem is these undead appeared not from these lands. In the morning, the party went back to investigate the village and fell victim to the War's Touch. While some of them were able to shake it off, Tyrinn Ironward head ended up literally exploding... and then shattered into many mirror shards. The party burried his body in a shallow grave and went to investigate the rest of the town (with only a little concern). They discovered an axe burried into the chest of one of the bodies that gave off a strange powerful aura. Kartika picked it up and (through very good rolls) managed to hold back the anger raidiating from the weapon. It is currently wrapped in several furs. Tyrinn Ironward raven has not dissapeared and is currently on Revnaa Noshk shoulder
