The Great Nest
West of the Central Plains, there is a thick, verdant, and chaotic jungle that is teeming with life. The Apelong christened it The Great Nest when they first began to speak and have called the realm their home ever since. The pathways and winding roots of its timeless foundations are ever changing and those who hope to navigate them must become accustomed to change. The Great Nest is struggle; every creature within it has earned its tools and shapes, so as to better violently fight for its survival. Gigantic monsters, deadly poisons, smashing floods, and jagged ground make the region one of the most punishing but rewarding places to live in throughout the continent. Though most creatures do what they can to adapt to the rhythms of change in the canopy, its most recent residents -- the Gnomes -- have taken to dominating the waters that run through it. Their preference for control has shown their mastery of architectural works, but has made them enemies of all other inhabitants of the paradise.
