Drow

Nocturnal Hunters

Many have heard of the Blood Eyed Riders or the Midnight Hunters; stories folk tell their children when they want to behave. These tales are based on the Drow, who live in the Eastern plains they’ve named Unegui. No one knows where they came from originally, but ever since they set foot on their homeland none have ever been able to remove them.   They live nomadically, riding from place to place to hunt the packs of Boars that roam the plains. The land is dotted with some forested areas, which the Drow visit from time to time to forage. There lives a race known as the Elkin, who they sometimes scuffle with. There is an unspoken understanding between the two races to keep the forests and plains separate, but fights are not unheard of.   More than anything, the Drow keep to themselves, trading in small quantities and periodically with neighboring races. There is no true ruler of Unegui, but rather many little tribes that stick together. However, should the sanctity of Unegui ever be challenged by another race, the Drow declare One Moon, and fight together as brothers until the threat passes.
