Culture: Kenku are unable to vocalise or create in any way that is not a mimicry of something else. Their speech is a patchwork of overheard words and phrases in a pattern of different voices and inflections. They are welcomed with open arms among the Dwarves they share the mountains with as their ability to flawlessly recreate even the most complex masterworks is well sought over.
Origin: The Kenku began as the Thirdlings, they were used as messengers for the Goliath peoples. A message carried by Kenku cannot be faked as they mimic the exact speech pattern, tone and voice of the sender. Their name, Kenku, is the Goliath word for “Free” that they repurposed for themselves.
