Maike was born and raised in a small village west of Angstrom.
Education
Maike initially received little education. At her home village, she learned very basic reading and writing, and some basic counting and math, but no more. The harsh ice plains of the northlands had her focus on hunting and tracking for most of her life to help supply her family.
