Leova County
Leova is a small county in eastern Nur-Onera, south of the Tabalim river. It is most renowned for the large University of Caldbyrg situated in the city of Caldbyrg. It is one of the Magisterial States of Onera, where the Sovereignty has replaced local noble rule with civil rule in the name of the Sovereign.
Structure
A House Tartaran ruler, Count Alpon Vultuf, was removed from power approximately 40 years ago (920 ME) in a peaceful transference to Magisterial rule. A council of Magistrates administers the Sovereignty’s rule in the region, which has flourished from near famine.

Geography
Situated with mountain ranges to the east, Leova is cut off from much of Nur-Onera and self-sustaining. Heavy rainfall is trapped by the mountain range and the area is lush with farms and forests. Three rivers flow eastward to join the larger river that flows south towards the bay of Stonewalls.
History
The Region was initially settled sometime in the Ancient Era by the Stone Kings in service to the Faen. Not much is known of the time, though the towns of Nithorne and Kildridge both claim to have existed in some form as long as 2000 years ago.
Demography and Population
Population: 30,856 per 940 census.
Demographics: 54% Oneran, 30% Wyneil, 9% Nonhuman, 7% Other human ethnicity.
Territories
Leova county's territory extends eastward from the Kirchwen tips as far as the Cairn Copse and Rowenter Fells, and it's territory terminates roughly along the heaths to the north and south.
These are considered ancestral lands of the Tartaran Noble house through the Vultulf line, though they have been abdicated to Sovereignty ministration as of 940 ME.
Military
The largest military force in the area remains stationed in the Thorneforte; a Sovereign body of 2000 soldiers.
Foreign Relations
Leova is on good terms with many of it's neighboring counties, being a center for education and trade. It has one of the most integrated Onero-Wyne populations, in part due to the bloodless abdication of rule to the Sovereignty in totality in 940 ME.
