Incarnates

Incarnates are created in a variety of ways. Exposure to a surge of magical power while in utero, phenomena such as curses, and sometimes entirely from nothing at the will of a powerful entity or force. Incarnates are sometimes born as mortals and other times created as teens or adults, but regardless of their manifestation they all have similar traits and characteristics while still being unique and varied in appearance and motivation.   Most commonly, the The University of Rose and Violet on the Loch has conducted extensive research on the phenomenon of Incarnates, and recent experiments have resulted in a reliable methodology for the creation of such entities through bombarding Faenstone with magical energy. When it does not cause massive destruction, it can create an Incarnate.
