Himarlan (hi-mar-lan)

Hailing from across the eastern sea, Himarlans are the least populous ethnic group in Thamrysis, and are found most numerously in the Silver Strand. However, many have settled in Sunhollow, where the pursuit of knowledge defeats ethnic barriers. 
To the people of Thamrysis, Himarla is a land of magic and mystery across the sea. Himarlans do not share this perspective, and generally, Thamrysis is seen as somewhat backwater compared to the carefully planned cities and societies of Himarla. In Thamrysis, little is known about the Himarlan homeland and its distant continent, except even the common Himarlan seems to know a little sorcery. Contextually, "Himarlan" refers to people from the land of Himarla, which has many unique cultures and histories that cannot easily be summarized in a single passage.
