Durbum-Rukhuk
Demography and Population
60% goblins; 20% gnomes; 15% orcs; 5% other. Orcs still command respect but avoid goblin cities, and gnomes stick around despite systemic prejudice because of the freedom in technical research, along with the usual reasons why peoples stay (family, tradition, migration is hard, etc). However, there are some gnome separatists holding islands off the east coast.
Trade & Transport
On the east coast, pirate and trade seaships bring in goods from the scattered (and contested with Seabreeze Alliance) islands, and landships of wind and unstable combustion engines bring goods from the interior, west, and southeast. Strong fisheries in the lake to the west have led this city to flourish, despite (or with the aid of) a larger-than-usual gnome population. There are heated fishing rights disputes between Keldreth to the west.
