A Princess Lost in the Mists

Just before the mornings first light Allana, Otis, Claire, Petunia and Bruce arrived back at the Owl. He welcomed them, happy that they returned. The friends gave the owl his Magoffin. The owl was now able to see and hear clearly as well. The muffled sounds were now voices. They were speaking out to Allana. They were words of love, encouragement strength, and faith.   He looked at Allana and all her friends and he was filled with both joy and sadness at the same time.   Joy because he could finally see Allana, and he knew she was going to be okay.   Sadness for Allana had to go home. She had faced her trials and proved how strong she was and united friends along the way.   "Allana, it fills my heart with joy to finally see you." The owl said "I cannot thank you enough for all you have done while you were here. I can now fulfill my end of our agreement."   The owl hopped off the branch he had been perch on and glided down to the forest floor with the others.   He looked at Otis, Claire Petunia, and Bruce "My dear friends you are all heroes of the highest order. You helped this precious little girl find her way when her future was unknown and gained each other as friends in the process. I commend you all Knights of the Wayward Child."   The company of five looked around exchanging smiles, hugs, and lite knuckle bumps as they cheered for themselves.   The owl took a few steps away and clapped his wings together clearing away the morning fog and mist as the first rays of sunshine began peeking through the trees. A path previously hidden was visible.   "Allana understand what those sounds are." The owl told her. "They're voices. Voices of your loved ones. Your mom and your dad your mimi and you papa. Andara, Philgar, and Aloura too. They love you a lot and I can feel how much they miss you and that they're very worried about you."
