Battle of Mo'ra

During the War

The warning was heeded by many, but regrettably, numerous would perish before alliances could be established among the various factions. While The Aliech Kingdom did their duties as rulers to protect the realm, they were unable to successfully prevent the invasion. Many of the minor settlements vacated their homelands within the lands of Aliech. As many would eventually head westwards towards the hills of Rubita , a large settlement that would later be known as Grehearth.   To preserve, the people assembled massive precipices, impenetrable walls, and buried subterrene dwellings. Yet, cowering behind those partitions did little to guarantee their safety. Few people left these lands, as the common folk trudged from one empty day to another, knowing that one day the Fomorian invaders may return.   Many heroes ventured towards Rubita to defend their respective lands, to oppose the invasion force. Through several trials and tribulations, the Fomorian forces were pushed back in the second battle of Mo'ra. At the decisive battle that decimated the surviving fortifications of Rubita, the fortress came to a climactic explosion.   The sky would be sundered by an explosive white light, as the forces of Tristan Grehearth combated the Fomorian God-King Balor head-on, while the remaining forces aimed to destroy the remaining portals at Mo'ra. Weeks of conflicts carried onwards until eventually, Balor was slain by Tristan in the remains of Rubita. With their supply line growing thinner, and their God-King decapitated, the remaining Fomorian forces retreated to the remaining portals of Mo'ra and combatting the joint strike force of Rubitia and the Aliech Kingdom until none were left on the material plane.

After the War

Reconstruction began under the heads of the surviving forces, and the remaining companions of Tristan Grehearth. In respect for his efforts, the remains of what made Rubitia was rebuilt and renamed in his honor for his services. Through this united effort between the Aliech Royal Family and his companions, the once bloodsoaked land was restored, rebuilt with the new knowledge and technology utilized in the war. With extensive walls that towered over 50 feet with thick battlements and crenellations, the designers also planned in mind a plethora of design choices to accommodate defensive stratagems, while being able to accommodate the common folk.   With extensive space and being mindful of city planning, the city drew in many of the survivors in the war of Mo'ra as a safe haven for them all. This trend would continue as the brightest of minds, the hardest of workers, and the strongest of wills, found themselves heading towards the city of safety and opportunity.
