The Offer of Sanctuary

After years of exile on the fringes of Rosewind, the Taurathi found an unexpected ally—the Hska, a traveling half-giants who valued trade and kinship over the superstitions of men.   The Offer of Sanctuary When the Hska arrived to establish their trade routes, they did not see the Taurathi as cursed beasts or runaway livestock. They saw a people displaced, their strength and resilience evident in the way they had survived famine and persecution. The Hska, practical and compassionate, extended an invitation:   "Come with us to the mountains.
