Session 132 - The Road to Hell

Military action

The Archfey sends Tarksson, Lanthem, Toan, Syr'Cap, Cedric, and Poetus to the Ode of Obsidian to fight the forces of Venumbra, and steal two crystals from them. When they arrive, they fight monstrous Orcs, gray dwarves, and dark elves, and steal one of the crystals, but then Lanthem figures out that something is very odd about everything. He pulls off his crystal headband the Archfey gave them to protect them from the elements, and discovers it was projecting an illusion onto their minds. They were really in Oathkeep, fighting Garruk's Orcs, and Nura's Oathkeep Dwarves. Toan and Poetus removed their headbands as well. Tarksson and Syr'Cap ran off ahead, and stole the second crystal. Only Tarksson made it through the portal in time, leaving everyone else behind.
