Mikhael, Nura, Garruk, and Imrie encounter Venumbra, who offers them the soul of Gabriel in exchange for Nura's Ki Stone. They refuse him, and he alludes to some ritual they need to complete. They rush to find this ritual, fighting numerous monsters along the way, but lose Rebus down a bottomless pit in the process.
