Nura, Mikhael, Imrie, Garruk, Essa and Odea mourn the loss of Rebus, before proceeding ahead, where they encounter three Mind Flayers invading the world from the Dreadlands. They fight, and manage to kill all but one Mind Flayer, who managed to get away. Deciding they were too weak to face the last one, they elected to rest, letting the Mind Flayer escape. They recovered the last of the Archives, and discovered there may be more in Chronicle City. Finding the way out, high above the mountains, they decide to head to Chronicle City next.
