Vulkrem, Tanozall, Syr'Cap, Viktur, and Busiris find that the Shadow Horde, an army of over 1,000 Orcs sworn to Venumbra, have taken over the Oakfoot camp. They meet with their leader, a man named Dhrakus, and join forces with him. Viktur swears fealty to Venumbra in exchange for having his tether cut from Vulkrem. Tanozall destroys the Treestone with his Obsidian Dagger, absorbing its power and also cutting his tether from Vulkrem. He unfortunately then destroyed the Dagger, not realizing it still was the source of his power. He fell dead, and it took the combined efforts of Vulkrem, Syr'Cap and Busiris to bring him back. They began to march for New Crescendo.
