Nura, Mikhael, Lanthem, Imrie, and Garruk arrive at Oathkeep. They discover that the Oathkeep Dwarves remember Mikhael, and are quite mad at him for bringing them to slaughter a tribe of Orcs. Nura tells them what happened while she was out, and Acting Abbot Acanthius reveals to Nura what has been going on in Oathkeep while she's been gone. When they go to the Sacred Poem, Nura discovers a message written to her from Vaso, 3000 years in the past, despite the fact that this message was supposedly written by The Poet. With knowledge that Nura can now read Ancient Dwarvish, they spend the next two and a half months researching and learning.
